1 The elders4245 which3588 are among1722 you5213 I exhort,3870 who am also an elder,4850 and2532 a witness3144 of the3588 sufferings3804 of Christ,5547 and2532 also a partaker2844 of the glory1391 that shall3195 be revealed: 601

2 Feed4165 the3588 flock4168 of God2316 which is among1722 you,5213 taking the oversight1983 thereof, not3361 by constraint,317 but235 willingly;1596 not3366 for filthy lucre,147 but235 of a ready mind;4290

3 Neither3366 as5613 being lords over2634 God's heritage,2819 but235 being1096 examples5179 to the3588 flock.4168

4 And2532 when the3588 chief Shepherd750 shall appear,5319 ye shall receive2865 a crown4735 of glory1391 that fadeth not away.262

5 Likewise,3668 ye younger,3501 submit yourselves5293 unto the elder.4245 Yea,1161 all3956 of you be subject5293 one to another,240 and2532 be clothed with1463 humility:5012 for3754 God2316 resisteth498 the proud,5244 and1161 giveth1325 grace5485 to the humble.5011

1 Тож благаю між вами пресві́терів, співпресві́тер та свідок Христових стражда́нь, співучасник слави, що повинна з'явитись:

2 пасіть стадо Боже, що у вас, наглядайте не з примусу, але добровільно по-Божому, не для брудної наживи, а ревно,

3 не пануйте над спа́дком Божим, але будьте для стада за взір.

4 А коли Архипа́стир з'я́виться, то одержите ви нев'яну́чого вінка́ слави.

5 Також молоді, — коріться ста́ршим! А всі майте покору один до о́дного, бо „Бог проти́виться гордим, а смиренним дає благода́ть!“

6 Тож покоріться під міцну́ Божу руку, щоб Він вас Свого ча́су пови́щив.

7 Покладіть на Нього всю вашу журбу́, бо Він опікується вами!

8 Будьте твере́зі, пильнуйте! Ваш супроти́вник — диявол — ходить, ричучи́, як лев, що шукає пожерти кого́.

9 Противтесь йому́, тверді в вірі, знавши, що ті самі му́ки трапляються й вашому братству по світу.

10 А Бог усякої благодаті, що покликав вас до вічної слави Своєї в Христі, нехай Сам удоскона́лить вас, хто трохи поте́рпів, хай упе́внить, зміцни́ть, уґрунтує.

11 Йому слава та вла́да на вічні віки, амі́нь.

12 Я коротко вам написав через Силуя́на, як гада́ю — вірного брата. Закликаю та свідчу, що це Божа благода́ть правдива, що ви в ній стоїте́.

13 Вітає вас ра́зом ви́брана Церква в Вавилоні, і Ма́рко, мій син.

14 Вітайте один о́дного поцілунком любови. Мир вам усім у Христі! Амінь.

10 А Бог усякої благодаті, що покликав вас до вічної слави Своєї в Христі, нехай Сам удоскона́лить вас, хто трохи поте́рпів, хай упе́внить, зміцни́ть, уґрунтує.
